Hikkup log

Is there something that you've always wanted to say to someone, but don’t have the guts to say it... Now you can!

The Company

We are Hikkup Ltd. Our aim is to provide individuals with a forum through which honest and frank discussion can take place.

Our Vision

Here at Hikkup HQ, we dream of a world where people can express themselves free of fear, embarrassment or confrontation. We could all think of things we wanted to say, but each had our own reasons for bottling up our thoughts and feelings.

After hours of us banging our heads together – don’t try that one at home kids - and brainstorming over lots of take aways, we came up with a solution. What if we could say things anonymously?

So, with a clap of thunder and a bolt of lightning, Hikkup was born.

Break your silence

Our first feature enables our registered users to send anonymous text messages directly to the mobile phone any other person. Of course, you need to let us know their name and mobile phone number, but we can’t do everything for you!

Once we have that information, we send that person a text asking whether they mind receiving an anonymous message. We suggest you take this time to think about what it is you want to say – you may find it harder than you think to compose your message!

If your recipient agrees to receive your message, you can send it. Try not to say everything at once – after all, you don’t want to overwhelm them. Also, it’s not a one bite of the cherry type of deal. Your recipient can respond to your messages and you can even have a whole conversation through Hikkup!

Discover the Truth

Alternatively, text three or more of your friends with a question and invite them to reply anonymously. They can then text back safe in the knowledge that you won't know which of them responded. It's a recipe for real honesty!

Hikkup’s applications are endless. Whether it be to a friend, a colleague or even a family member, Hikkup users can convey their deepest thoughts, views or emotions without fear of causing an argument, facing an awkward situation or feeling that they might be misinterpreted. The sender and the recipient can then discuss the matter openly, honestly and discreetly.

What’s next?

We’ve just ordered another pizza so stay tuned to find out what new anonymous applications we come up with!
